Hong Kong Metal Finishing Society Limited was established in 1974 and possesses professional knowledge and technology in metal finishing. The missions of our society are to promote the communication between members of metal finishing industries and to enhance the technology of metal finishing.
The activities of Hong Kong Metal Finishing Society Ltd. is monitored by the committee board which are formed by one Chairman, three Vice Chairmans and 24 committee members and nine Advisors.
To compile with our society missions, Committee members assist the metal finishing companies strengthen their competitiveness . Through the closely monitoring of government legislation and its effect on industries as well as representing the industry to provide feedback, our society serve as a bridge between finishing industry and government bodies and provide best benefits to finishing industry.

- To assist in the dissemination of metal finishing knowledge and experience to members and local industrialists. To provide for and be a central medium of communication for every member of the Society for the furtherance and promotion of their interest.
- To establish closer contacts between the Society and local industries. To confer, consult, maintain contact and co-operate with any persons, associations, societies, institutions or bodies of persons established or to be established in Hong Kong or elsewhere having objects in whole or in part similar to those of the Society in prespect of matter within the objects of the Society. To co-operate whenever desirable and possible with overseas similar organizations. To cultivate reciprocal relations with kindred associations in other countries and to further the dissemination and interchange of technical and commercial knowledge.
- To adopt such means of making known any of the objects of the Society as may seem expedient, and in particular, by advertising in the Press, by circulars, by publication of books and periodicals, or by such other means as may be thought expedient.
- To hold and conduct social activities which may enhance the communication and reciprocal relationship between members.
